Bharatnatyam

Bharatnatyam is one of the most popular Indian classical dances originated in South India. Inculcates discipline & patience, builds muscle strength and endurance. Also helps participants understand the mind, body & soul connection, aids in exercising the left and right brain to do different things, develops speed, strength & stamina. 

Kathak

Kathak is one of the most important classical dances of India which is originated in North India. The word kathak means "to tell a story".  The "Kathakars" communicate stories through rhythmic foot movements, hand gestures, facial expressions.

Ballet

Ballet is a type of performance dance that originated during the Italian Renaissance in the 15th century and later developed into a concert dance form in France and Russia.  It has been globally influential and has defined the foundational techniques used in many other dance genres/cultures. 

Hip-Hop

A deliberate expression of a freer self…Hip Hop is an expression of your inner attitude. The dance form incorporates 15 different styles ranging from crumping and wacking to locking and popping to tuting, miming and breakdancing and a lot more.

Kalaripayattu

Kalaripayattu is an ancient form of Martial Arts that originated in India & its roots can be traced back to the Vedic Period. It has stood the test of time and historians believe that it is the oldest surviving Martial arts on this planet. What was once practiced only by the warrior clan in Kerala is now considered the mother of all Martial arts

Flute

Flute is one among the three celebrated musical instruments of India. The flute is a family of musical instruments in the woodwind group. It is  an aerophone or reedless wind instrument that produces its sound from the flow of air across an opening

Mridangam

Mridangam, also spelled mrdangam, mridanga, or mrdanga, two-headed drum played in carnatic music of southern India. It is made of wood in an angular barrel shape, having an outline like an elongated hexagon. Thong hoops around each end of the drum, leather thong lacing, and small wooden dowels slipped under the lacings control the skin tension.

Ghatam

Ghatam is one of the oldest percussion instruments of South India. The mouth of the Ghatam is open and is played with two hands, wrists, ten fingers and nails. Ghatam is a specially designed clay pot, usually made of a mixture of clay baked with brass or copper fillings and a small amount of iron fillings. 

Kanjira

The kanjira is a small tambourine.  It is made by stretching lizard skin over a wooden frame.  The frame is about seven inches in diameter with one metal jingle mounted in it.  The kanjira is very popular in South Indian classical performances.  It is related to the daf of folk music.

Guitar

Playing the guitar means never being alone with nothing to do. It means strumming for fun, or going further and further into amazing territory and a lifetime of discovery and discipline, or just taking up a hobby that gives you immense pleasure and a sense of achievement.
